Art Crawl Album Release • Vinyl Launch • Art Exhibition
Friday, August 14 | 4:00–8:00 PM
Join us during the August Art Crawl for the official release of my newest album—an ambitious collaboration between music and visual art made possible in part through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This project celebrates the power of artistic collaboration while using creativity to make a meaningful difference in our community.
Every song on the album has been paired with an original work of art created by a different local artist, transforming the record into a multimedia experience where music and visual storytelling become one. The collaboration highlights the incredible talent of our local arts community and demonstrates how artists from different disciplines can come together to create something far greater than either could accomplish alone.
An Exclusive Vinyl Release
This event marks the exclusive release of the album on vinyl. There will be no CD edition, making this a truly special collector's release. The vinyl format was chosen intentionally to showcase the artwork in a way that digital formats simply can't, creating a lasting piece that honors both the music and the artists whose work helped shape the project.
Music Throughout the Evening
From 4:00–8:00 PM, I'll be performing songs from the album continuously throughout the Art Crawl, alternating between Cream City Tattoo's gallery space and the street-level performance area. Guests are welcome to stop in at any point during the evening to experience the music surrounded by the artwork that inspired and accompanies each song.
Supporting Survivors Through Music
Art has the power to inspire change, and this project was created with that purpose in mind.
One hundred percent of all vinyl album sales during the event will benefit the Put the Nail in It Foundation through Safe Horizon, helping support programs that work to end domestic abuse while providing resources, advocacy, and hope for survivors and their families.
Original Artwork Charity Auction
Several of the original works featured on the album will be available in an in-person silent auction during the Art Crawl.
These are the original, one-of-a-kind pieces created specifically for this project, and 100% of the proceeds from every winning bid will be donated to the Put the Nail in It Foundation through Safe Horizon.
Commemorative Merchandise
Artwork-inspired merchandise will debut during the event, with product samples on display for visitors to see in person.
All merchandise will be available through print-on-demand online ordering and will remain available through the end of the year, allowing supporters to commemorate the project while continuing to support its mission long after the Art Crawl has ended.
Celebrate Art. Celebrate Community. Make a Difference.
Whether you're passionate about original music, local art, vinyl records, or supporting an important cause, this event offers a unique opportunity to experience all four.
Come enjoy:
